Pier1 Bathrooms has brought the world of luxury bathrooms to Brighton & Hove. Bathrooms are the sole focus of Angus and Steph Warner, who combine a high-end specialist service with industry expertise to create bathrooms that will truly inspire and impress.

Our goal was to combine a smooth exploration experience for customers looking for a unique luxury bathroom from a passionate and dedicated team committed to quality and high-class design.


Laying the foundations of good website design

Months before the store opened, we started planning the website for their luxury bathroom shop in Hove, East Sussex. Laying solid foundations for this exciting new business and working with the directors to deliver their vision of inspiring ideas and engaging UX design.

We split the website and marketing down into easy deliverables as the project itself was still on the drawing board.


Creative and flexible design with easy navigation

The clients’ leading suppliers had a bank of exceptional images which they wanted to use to create a visual experience for customers. We designed a scrolling gallery Bathroom Inspiration which the clients can easily add to whenever they have new products or projects they wish to add.

The site is built on WordPress CMS and is fully responsive with the images optimised for speed. The CMS is simple to manage and update by the clients, and the design will grow with the company as new projects are completed and new products launched.


Content Strategy and SEO

We used Google Analytics and SEO tools, as well as competitor research as the content was developed. Case studies, projects and testimonials will be added as additional pages to the gallery and blog as the company takes on more business. This type of content is key to building trust in their work, improving SEO and creating emotional connections.

Facebook and Instagram were launched early and are already gaining good engagement and bringing visitors to the website. Growing an online community will raise brand recognition and boost reach through social engagement and sharing.

Pier1 will be adding new content regularly, and this will bring search engines back to re-crawl and re-rank a website.


Raising brand awareness and marketing direction

We developed a marketing plan for the company which included events for the showroom opening; billboard and print advertising, in select publications; a Google Ads campaign; PR and social media advertising.
